Your privacy is very important to me and will be honored on Fragging Fundamentals. I spend my days online so I know it's difficult to know who to trust these days on the Internet and that's why I'm writing to let you know exactly how your information will be used (or rather not used).
The information that is collected on Fragging Fundamentals include IP address, time of visit, pages visited, name and e-mail as well as inserting a cookie for tracking purposes.
The IP address tells me which country you're browsing the website from. This information allows me to enhance the website for your country so for example, I have been getting a lot of people visiting from France, USA, Findland, Netherlands and Canada so I know what languages people are most likely to speak.
Eventually, this information will allow me to create pages in your own local language (ie: If you come from France, it will be in French, if you're from China, it will be in Mandarin / Cantonese)
The time and pages visited are also collected so I know when people are visiting the site so that eventually I can be connected "live" so I can answer questions about the book when you come online.
Finally, the cookie is to remember who has already been on the site and who hasn't. It tells me that you're a returning visitor or that you've never been here before. This is good because I don't want to bore you with the same information over and over again if you've already been here before.
It also lets me know who sent you here, so I can thank them for spreading the word about Fragging Fundamentals.
Of course, all of this information is kept completely private and will never be sold or used outside of Fragging Fundamentals.
I think it's only fair that if I ask you for your email, then you should have mine. So here it is, and if you have any questions, feel free to email me and I'll answer you.
Here's my email, eric.lancheres@fraggingfundamentals.com
Sincerely,
Eric Lancheres
